It's brewedon lager malt, a slightly roasted, bright type of malt which results in the well-known mild, fresh taste and aroma of flowers and grain. The beer is medium rich and lively with a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Tuborg Brewery brief history The story of Tuborg starts in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, where the Tuborg Brewery brewed Denmark's first pilsner-type beer in 1880 and packaged it in bottles with a distinctive green label.It becameinstantly popular with the Danes and has since grown to become Denmark's best selling beer.

Type: Pilsner ABV: 5.8% Introduced: 1895 Tuborg Gold is a real lady. It has elegance, dignity and a discrete appearance hiding a delightful level of sweetness. It's an exciting relationship where anything can happen. Tuborg Gold is an international, bottom fermented luxury lager beer. It wasfirst launched in the nineteenth century for export markets, but proved to be ahuge success in Denmark.
Type: Vienna ABV: 4.6% Introduced: 1993 Tuborg Classic is a bottom-fermented Vienna beer, which was introducedin celebrationof Tuborg's 120th birthday in 1993. It was the first beer in Denmark to bear the name ‘classic', and it's been a true classic ever since, becoming the third best selling brand on the Danish market. It is brewed on lager, münchener, caramel and colour malt, which give it a slightly grainy, caramel-like aroma with underlying notes of blackcurrant. It goes well with veal, pork, chicken, grilled fish and classic dinner recipes with beef.
Type: Vienna ABV: 4.8% Introduced: 2004 Tuborg Classic Gylden is the Classic family's most civilised and youngest member. Developed in 2004 to suit the taste preferences of the Danes, it has a very mild flavour and a hint of lemon, all wrapped up in a seductive golden-red colour. Tuborg Classic Gylden is a dark golden, bottom-fermented wiener-inspired beer with a light and fresh character. It's brewed with lager malt, caramel malt and brewing syrup which give it a mild aroma. The syrup and the use of American cascade hopscreate a fresh mild taste with a hint of lemon. Tuborg Classic Gylden goes well with lunch dishes. Fried chicken and other fried meat accompanied by sweet sauces. Thai and Indian recipes and other medium spicy dishes.
Type: Non-Alcoholic Pilsner ABV: 0.1% Introduced: 1994 Tuborg Super Light is a bottom-fermented alcohol-free pilsner beer that tastes like a real pilsner. That's because it is brewed like a real pilsner, and only the alcohol has been removed. And, as an added bonus, it's also low in calories - with just 40% of the calories of an ordinary pilsner.

Type: Low Carb Pilsner ABV: 4.5% Introduced: 2007 Launched in February 2007, Tuborg LITE is a low carb and low calory beer developed especially for the Norwegian market. It has 30% less calories and 70% less carbonhydrates than regular Tuborg pilsner, but maintainsthe same amount of alcohol.
Type: Strong Pilsner ABV: 7.5% Introduced: 1955 Tuborg Fine Festival made for a Queen. It has an English name because it was originally produced for the English market to celebrate Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953. It was introduced to Denmark in 1955 where it lives a quiet, but distinguished life as a luxury beer for connoisseurs.
Type: Strong Pilsner ABV: 5.7% Introduced: 1913 Tuborg's Easter Brew - or Kylle, Kylle - is a well-loved part of the Danish Easter. Its launch day - which is always a Friday in early March - is widely known as P-Day or Påskebryg Day. According to tradition, the beer is released at exactly 20:59 in on-trade outlets, while off-trade customers start selling it the following day. Tuborg Easter Brew is a full-bodied, amber coloured beer with a slightly spicy scent and a finely balanced bitter/sweet taste. Its warmth and unmistakeable flower notes are always a welcome sign of the spring and warmer temperatures to come.
Type: Strong Pilsner ABV: 5.6% Introduced: 1981 Tuborg Julebryg is a bottom-fermented, wiener beer brewed on lager, münchener andcaramel malt with English liquorice. The beer is dark-golden with a fresh aroma of caramel, grain, liquorice and blackcurrant. It'sexcellent with traditional Christmas recipes, smoked fish, grilled/fried herring, smoked ham with curly kale, roast pork and duck. Enjoy at 7-10C. Most Danes know the blue and white advertisement for Tuborg Julebryg - Tuborg Christmas Brew. But probably not many know that the famous animated commercial, which features Santa Claus in blue clothing, is actually older than the beer itself. The commercial was originally launched in 1980 as a special holiday commercial for ordinary Tuborg pilsner, but it became so popular that for Christmas 1981 we created the special Tuborg Julebryg. Although Tuborg Julebryg is a seasonal beer and is only on the market for six weeks every year, it is still Denmark's fourth best selling beer. It's only beaten by Green Tuborg, Carlsberg Pilsner and Tuborg Classic, which are available all year round. Its launch, known as "J-day", always takes place on the first Friday of every November and is an annual day of celebration across Denmark. Carlsberg employees drive around the bars and cafes, handing out free beer to really get the festive season started.
Type: Pilsner ABV: 5.0% Introduced: 2007 Tuborg Fiçi - Tuborg Draft was released in January 2007 by Türk Tuborg andwith it's original taste and packaging it has quickly managed to gain popularity with consumers and has tripled its sales targets in the first 3 months. The special Tuborg Fiçi botlle has won an award in the beverage category at the 20th "Golden Packaging Contest " organized by the Turkish Institute of Standards (TSE). The bottle is designed to resemble the feel of a special kind of glass that Turkish consumers enjoy drinking their Tuborg draft beer in.
Type: Pilsner ABV: 4.9% Introduced: 2005 T-Beer is Tuborg's easy to drink, low flavoured pilsner beer. With it's transparent bottle and easy-to-drink flavour it attracts the attention of consumers having fun in the summer time.
