Item Notes: Name: Westmalle Triple
Type: Triple
ABV (Alcohol by volume): 9.0%
Country of origin: Belgium
Introduced: 1836
At Westmalle they have been brewing since 1836. The Triple has a deep golden colour. It is brewed with a large variety of different hops and malts with added Demerara sugar. It is incredibly complex, aromatic, full of flavours such as banana, orange and hops. Just right after six months, it develops over time to become more aromatic and more complex. Fr. Thomas, the brewmaster, recommends the three year-old with asparagus and the six year-old in zabaglione. Can you be patient?
