Type: Ale - Blonde ABV (Alcohol by volume): 5.0% Country of origin: Belgium Introduced: Leffe Blonde. A dry, fruity, lightly spiced beer, full and creamy - a perfect balance of strength and subtlety. The brand has a delicate and light, malty aroma and a subtle, sweet finish. Leffe Blonde is a perfect accompaniment to light, everyday meals.
Leffe beer types
Type: Ale - Belgian ABV: 6.5% Introduced: Leffe Brown is substantially more robust than Leffe Blond. This rich variety combines the rich aroma of roasted caramel with a slightly sweet finish. It is an excellent accompaniment to hearty, sweet and savory types of cuisine.
Type: Ale - Belgian ABV: 8.2% Introduced: Leffe Radieuse combines a very complex taste pallet and the fruity flavors of banana, citrus fruit, coriander and cloves, with a mild sharpness. It is a beer to drink instead of complex wines, with sophisticated and complex cuisines.
Type: Triple ABV: 8.5% Introduced: Leffe Triple is a stronger beer with a full aftertaste of spicy coriander and orange. Leffe Triple is an excellent replacement for any robust or full-flavored white wine.
Type: Ale - Belgian ABV: 8.1% Introduced: Vieille Cuvee is by far the most difficult of the five Leffe beers to come by, even in Belgium. It has a musty, malty flavour, with an aftertaste of blackberries and toffee. It attains a persistent, though thin head of froth, and has an intoxicating toffee bouquet. The texture is a little sharp, but this only serves to provide further balance to this impressive, rare beer. In my opinion, Leffe Vieille Cuvee is the tastiest of the Leffe range of Belgian beers.
