The Hoegaarden history starts around 1445 in the small village of the same name following a secret recipe using the purest ingredients and locally grown wheat, the villagers developed the original unfiltered white beer. Light and refreshing beer with a slightly bitter and fruity taste, with a hint of coriander and curacao.
Hoegaarden beer types Type: Ale - Belgian ABV: 8.8% Introduced: A gift from the gods. Our dark red forbidden fruit is mellowed and full bodied. It tastes both sweet and dry: an excellent balance of flavours accompanied by a spicy, herbal aroma. Forbidden Fruit is brewed with roasted malt, coriander, dry orange peel and Hoegaarden yeast. It is a rich, highly aromatic beer with an irresistible taste. A must for connoisseurs.
